Disadvantages

- the bags have a limited shelf life because they are compostable: so use them within one year from the date of manufacture (see the printing).

Note

The Compost Bag Company does not recommend buying a large number of items at one time. Compostable bags will retain their positive properties for a maximum of 1 year from the date of manufacture, after which they will begin to break down.
